europeArverne Group has received a €396,585 grant from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, with support from the European Social Fund, to enhance geothermal drilling training.

This funding, spread over three years (2025–2027), is part of the initiative “Support and Anticipation of Economic Transformations and Training for the Employed Workforce.” The grant will allow Arverne Drilling Services, a subsidiary of the Group, to launch a major program focusing on skill development and knowledge sharing in the geothermal drilling field.

The Group is already committed to improving employee skills through internal training, mentoring, and professional retraining, helping workers transition into technical geothermal roles. This new funding will build on those efforts, elevating them to new heights.

Pierre Brossollet, Founder and CEO of Arverne Group said, “Drilling is a strategic expertise we have been developing since the Group was founded. By strengthening this key expertise, Arverne — the only integrated supplier of geothermal solutions in France — is actively contributing to the structuring of the geothermal sector and supporting its scaling up.”

Arverne Group specializes in converting underground resources into renewable energy, such as geothermal heat and lithium, for local communities. As a fully integrated company, Arverne handles everything from exploration and drilling to production and sales. The company’s ultimate goal is to lead the French market in geothermal energy and its by-products, including low-carbon geothermal lithium.

Founded in Pau in 2018, Arverne Group operates through several subsidiaries: Lithium de France (focused on geothermal heat and lithium), 2gré (sales of geothermal heat), and Arverne Drilling Services (drilling operations).
