Expro has secured a Tubular Running Services (TRS) contract with Lithium de France to support new geothermal and direct lithium extraction wells in Alsace.
Direct lithium extraction offers a more environmentally friendly and efficient way to produce lithium for electric vehicle batteries and large-scale energy storage. The campaign in Alsace is one of the most active well campaigns underway in Europe, reinforcing Expro’s presence across the energy transition landscape.
The project requires a significant number of wells, representing the optimal field development for commercial-scale geothermal heat and lithium production.
